You know, when the radical left turns a peaceful event into a war zone, it’s no surprise, but the violence at TPUSA’s “This Is Turning Point” tour at UC Berkeley on Monday night was next-level chaos—and now Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon is stepping in with a full investigation that’s got the left squirming. The sold-out gathering at Zellerbach Hall, featuring Rob Schneider and Dr. Frank Turek, drew hundreds, but Antifa agitators showed up hours early, lighting flares, rushing barriers, and assaulting attendees. One video shows a mob breaking down orange barriers, sending people scrambling inside.

Another captures a guy in a “Freedom” shirt getting harassed for talking about Jesus, with the crowd yelling racial slurs like “white boy” as they try to “de-arrest” someone—pure thuggery.

And here’s the assault: the attacker, identified as Jihad Dphrepaulezz, a 25-year-old California Department of Public Health employee and rapper “A.R. The Believer,” steals the victim’s necklace and punches him bloody. Video:

Dhillon, furious at Berkeley’s handling, tweeted her outrage: “Not happy with how Berkeley handled the matter. Sounds like Berkeley has got a lot of explaining to do.”
We saw all of this at Berkeley back in 2017. @UCBerkeley was sued, and settled the case.
The @CivilRights will investigate what happened here, and I see several issues of serious concern regarding campus and local security and Antifa’s ability to operate with impunity in CA. https://t.co/aN7JzouXwl

She warned of incoming correspondence to the university and city.
Berkeley: @UCBerkeley and the City of Berkeley should expect some incoming @CivilRights correspondence. And more. In America, we do not allow citizens to be attacked by violent thugs and shrug and turn our backs. Been there, done that, not on our watch.

By afternoon, she announced the Civil Rights Division’s full probe, sending letters to the university president and police chief.
Mob assault and thuggish intimidation of attendees exercising their First Amendment rights are unacceptable.

She demanded they preserve all records related to the event, emphasizing, “Every American has the right to speak at and attend events without fear.”

This isn’t new for Berkeley—their history of letting left-wing mobs run wild while stifling conservatives is infamous. Under Biden, riots were “mostly peaceful”; Trump’s not tolerating it, labeling Antifa terrorists and deploying Guard troops to hot spots. Dhillon’s move is a game-changer—holding universities accountable for free speech failures.
Voters, this is why midterms matter—end the bias, protect our rights.
