Seattle police say a “violent crowd” prevented them from reaching two shooting victims — one who later died — inside the city’s autonomous protest zone Saturday.
Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. local time Saturday to a report of shots fired at Cal Anderson Park inside the area referred to as the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) or Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), according to a police statement.
“It’s the summer of chaos,” said Mike Solan, president of the Seattle Police Officers’ Guild in an interview on Fox News Saturday.
“Early this morning that violence was raw and real. … One of our community members lost their life and police are still not allowed into that area and were prevented from providing that police service to the area to locate the victim and … to render aid.
“It’s very troubling.”
Also, allegedly there was an incident with the ambulance:
#Chaz: Fuck police. Fuck medics. Fuck America
Also #Chaz: WHAT THE FUCK, PPL ARE MURDERING EACHOTHER IN OUR AUTOZONE & COPS, MEDICS & AMERICA WONT HELP!
Bloods on ur hands king Raz!
(And stop calling it #Chop. U don’t get to call urselves a protest cz ur scared of punishment) https://t.co/9zccxvk3Vp

One of the victims who survived and ironically he now wants to sue the police for not responding fast enough!
In his hospital bed, the man began by explaining, “I was shot in Seattle, in CHAZ, on Friday. The cops left me out there to die.”
He continued, “I somebody in legal or the media to get my story told, and get it out there. I got shot five times–I need you guys’ help.”

You should be suing the mayor, the city council, and the governor instead. And all the participants in the so-called
autonomous zone.
