A cellular outage early on Thursday hit thousands of AT&T
users in the United States, disrupting calls and text messages as well as emergency services in major cities including San Francisco.
More than 73,000 incidents were reported around 8:15 a.m. ET, according to data from outage-tracking website Downdetector.com.
“Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service interruptions this morning,” AT&T said in a statement to CNBC. “We are working urgently to restore service to them. We encourage the use of Wi-Fi calling until service is restored.”
The AT&T outage has impacted people’s ability to reach emergency services by dialing 911, a post on social media platform X from the San Francisco Fire Department said.
We are aware of an issue impacting AT&T wireless customers from making and receiving any phone calls (including to 911).
We are actively engaged and monitoring this.
The San Francisco 911 center is still operational.

Reports of mobile service outages of AT&T, Verizon, etc. emerged after major solar flare, Meteorologist say:
Here’s what X users think about this:
why would a solar flare only affect AT&T customers in the US?
— Abby Libby (@abbythelibb_) February 22, 2024
So the solar flare only affected the U.S. got it

Then why is my work cell phone on ATT working but my personal cell on ATT not working? Solar Flares are phone number specific?

If the “flare” happened overnight at 3am in the USA, we’d be facing the opposite direction of the sun. Did it take 4 hours to hit our surface? Also how would it only affect the USA for select carriers & not Canada/Mexico? Also why only specifically cellular services affected? 💀

Popular X user End Wokeness also didn’t bought the official reason for the outage and posted a video from WEF’s last meeting that went viral and raised more conspiracies!
Video below:
The W.E.F predicted a “catastrophic cyber event likely in the next 2 years” at a 2023 meeting but the outage todat was just a test according to a lot of X users!

By “predicted” a catastrophic cyber event you obviously mean “planned.”
WEF is a terrorist organization.
How many lives were ruined by the COVID propaganda they spread that ended up shutting down countries?
It’s ghastly.
WEF should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity.

Local alert notification received this morning on the nationwide cellular outages. 🆘 Probably just a coincidence pic.twitter.com/QXlX7UTvfr

🚨 IS AMERICA BEING ATTACKED BY AN EMP DRY RUN?
In the middle of the night last night, there were mass cellular outages reported for uses of AT&T, @Verizon, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile and other uses as well. pic.twitter.com/ufiuuVIptA

We can’t claim if this was a cyber attack however the situation is really suspicious if this isn’t a solar flame!
How are all these networks out at the same time?
