In his opening monologue tonight, Sean Hannity said the Democratic Party is colluding with the mainstream media to undermine the will of the American people and overturn President Donald Trump’s election victory.
He pointed out that there has been extensive coverage of Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer, but there has been very little coverage of the fact that Obama administration officials reportedly were the ones who signed off on attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya getting a special waiver to be in the U.S.
He asked if Veselnitskaya was such a threat – as the left and the media are now claiming – then why was she allowed in the U.S. in the first place?
“It sounds like John Kerry, Loretta Lynch and Jeh Johnson all have a lot of explaining to do,” Hannity said.
“Once again, as we begin to peel back the layers of this onion and learn more and more about truth and facts, this is now boomeranging back onto the Democratic Party,” he said.
He said that the Democrats and the “destroy-Trump media” have “breathlessly, hysterically” pushed the Trump-Russia collusion story for months, while they are actually the ones guilty of collusion.
“They have been colluding the entire time, all in an effort to damage, to delegitimize and ultimately overturn an election of you, the American people, and destroy the president,” Hannity said.
He said the press is largely driven by a left-wing political ideology, as opposed to an honest search for answers and truth.
As for the Democrats, Hannity said they are committed to impeaching Trump, and they will go to any lengths to do so.
