Twitter CTO Parag Agarwal was announced as Twitter’s new CEO.
He will replace Jack Dorsey who announced his resignation on Monday.
Now, we have this.
During an interview in November 2020, Agrawal said Twitter’s “role is not to be bound by the First Amendment.”
Former CTO and new Twitter CEO Agrawal in November 2020 interview: "Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment… focus[ing] less on thinking about free speech, but thinking about how the times have changed."

And while some may be prepared to start jumping for joy to see Dorsey out on his @ss, well, you may want to give it a moment. Jack’s replacement is more of a radical than he is.
Parag Agrawal, formerly the Chief Technology Officer, will assume the role of Twitter CEO, and he’s just terrible.
He also sent out this racist tweet:
We can expect that such a repulsive human being will be doing all he can to safeguard free speech and the exchange of diverse ideas. That’s sarcasm, for anyone who didn’t catch it. I think we can expect Twitter to become an even bigger sh*t show.
Twitter stock jumped by as much as 10 percent in pre-market trading before being halted following news that CEO Jack Dorsey is resigning from the company, to be replaced by Chief Technology Officer Parag Agrawal
CNBC reported this morning that according to confidential sources, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is expected to step down from his position at the company soon. Dorsey served as the CEO of both Twitter and the digital payment processor Square.
