President Trump blamed the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend on both sides of the conflict — equating the white supremacists on one side with the “alt-left” on the other side.
A new video has surfaced that shows a man drawing a gun and opening fire at counter protesters during the protest in Charlottesville on August 12th.
Watch the video below!
The video shows a man wearing a bulletproof vest turning and shouting at a man holding a makeshift torch, before drawing his pistol, pointing in the direction of the crowd of counter protesters and firing a single shot into the ground, according to Mirror.
Before firing the round, he appears to shout: “Hey n****r” towards the protester, thought to be 23-year old Corey Long, who had been photographed at the rally holding a makeshift flamethrower made from an aerosol spray can.
The suspect is then shown strolling past a line of police officers, who took no action.
Activist Rosa Parker, who saw the incident, told the New York Times: “We all heard it and ran – I know damn well they heard it. They never moved.”
Police officials have insisted no instructions were given to police to “stand down” and not get involved with the march – saying officers simply “didn’t hear” the gunshot.
Exsatclythe police did nothing and it could be that the whole event was a complete setup!
But the march, which took place two weeks ago and led to a woman’s death after a car plowed through anti-fascist protesters, came after police were criticised for using tear gas at a Ku Klux Klan rally a month earlier.
Just eight people were arrested at the Charlottesville rally.
The clip was released by the Virginia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
Hang on, is that a FLAMETHROWER in the video? Flamethrowers are banned in war. You know, when we’re actually out to kill each other these are still off the table. What is someone doing bringing one to a protest march? And if you do, and you point it at other people, don’t be surprised if one of them pulls out a gun and shoots at you because you brought that on yourself.
If you look to the right of the picture you will see an Antifa/Alt-left protester had turned an aerosol can into a flame thrower and it is at that point the man with the gun intervenes. Personally, I would have arrested both of them for endangering the public.
