According to Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy, the drones were spotted flying as close as 300 feet above Coast Guard officers, with some trailing a 47-foot motor lifeboat.

Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ) corroborated the sheriff’s claims, delivering a detailed account on the House floor last week. “Last night, I was on the beach in Ocean County with the sheriff. His team has been chronicling these sightings nightly. One of his officers saw 50 drones rising from the ocean,” Smith said. “The Coast Guard confirmed that one of their vessels was followed by up to 30 of these drones.”

Efforts to intercept the mysterious aircraft have proven fruitless. The sheriff’s office launched its industrial-grade drone in an attempt to track one of the objects, but the mystery drone effortlessly evaded pursuit before vanishing into thin air.

Sheriff Mastronardy emphasized the alarming nature of these sightings, noting that the drones appeared to have wingspans of about eight feet. He issued a direct appeal to the federal government: “Come to the Jersey shore. I know it’s wintertime, but come see what we see. Maybe then, you’ll better appreciate why our residents are so concerned.”

Slusser is now suing San Jose State and the NCAA, alleging she was forced to share living and changing spaces with Fleming without being informed he is a biological male. This lawsuit follows a contentious ruling earlier in the week by Judge Shane Kato Crews, a Biden appointee, who upheld Mountain West’s transgender participation policy, stating that the plaintiffs failed to act in a timely manner despite the policy being in effect since 2022.

Fleming’s athletic dominance isn’t new; as a teenager, competing as “Brayden Fleming,” he set numerous records in high school, with videos showcasing his unmatched spikes against female opponents.
