President Trump took to Twitter early on Friday to reassure the American people that if North Korea were to attack, the military is completely prepared and able.
The President indicated that the U.S. military is “locked and loaded” and ready for Kim Jong Un to do something extremely stupid in his quest to make himself relevant.
Washington Examiner reports:
President Trump on Friday warned North Korea that the U.S. military is “locked and loaded” if it decides to attack Guam or another part of the country.
“Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely. Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!” Trump tweeted Friday morning.

North Korea has outlined a plan to simultaneously launch four ballistic missiles toward Guam, a U.S. territory in the Pacific Ocean that is home to a major military base.
Officials in the regime say the plan is to have the missiles hit the water from 19 to 25 miles away from Guam, and that the proposal is expected to be presented to leader Kim Jong Un for his approval or rejection within a week.
Details of the threat came a day after Secretary of State Rex Tillerson assured Guam’s 7,000 U.S. military personnel and 160,000 residents there is no real threat from North Korea despite its behavior.
“Americans should sleep well at night,” Tillerson told reporters while traveling to Guam on Wednesday. “Nothing that I have seen and nothing that I know of would indicate that the situation has dramatically changed in the last 24 hours.”
This week, Trump warned North Korea it would face “fire and fury” if it prompted the U.S. to respond with military action.
[…]
President Trump held a press conference today where he discussed North Korea and responded to the criticism of his “fire and fury” statement against North Korea if they cause the U.S to respond with military action. The President stated:
“My critics are only saying that because it’s me, if somebody else uttered the exact same words that I uttered, they’d say, ‘what a great statement, what a wonderful statement,’ but I will tell you, we have tens of millions of people in this country that are so happy with what I’m saying because they’re saying, ‘finally we have a president that’s sticking up for our nation, and frankly, sticking up for our friends and our allies.”
The President continued his address today by informing the world that Kim Jong-Un will not continue down the path with his escalating threats and get away with. The President said:
“And [Kim Jong-Un] will not get away with what he’s doing, believe me. And if he utters one threat, in the form of an overt threat, which by the way, he’s been uttering for years, and his family has been uttering for years, or if he does anything with respect to Guam, or any place else that’s an American territory, or an American ally, he will truly regret it, and he will regret it fast.”
