What enrages me even more is the fact that her own mother was watching this and did nothing.

We found the identity of this girl and more facts about this case!

Sophie Long’s father took off with her after court order handed custody to her maternal aunt.

The father of Sophie Long went on the run with his daughter after custody was handed to her maternal aunt and he was banned from contacting her for 90 days, DailyMail can reveal.

The Texas girl has been at the center of a bitter custody battle since a video showing her screaming and accusing her mother’s fiancé of sexual assault went viral last August.

Her father Michael, 42, was then granted temporary custody of Sophie and her two brothers Jack, eight, and Lucas, seven, the following month.

But Sophie’s mother Kelly, 35, has denied that she was abused while in her care, and court papers reveal she was given full custody of both boys earlier this month while Sophie was temporarily handed to her aunt Danielle Hamlin.

Michael has now taken off with the 10-year-old, who was last seen at home in Seguin, Texas, on July 12, and is thought to be headed to Arizona or Mexico, according to authorities in Texas.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail, Michael’s father Jon said his son had no choice because he is terrified that she will be returned to an ‘abusive environment’.

‘First of all, while people don’t know where Sophie is, she is safe and with Michael,’ he said.

‘The reason she is not being given over to the court is to buy time for filing more court documents.

‘We do not want her to go back to the abusive environment she was in. The court has attacked Michael but not addressed the drugs and sexual assault.’

Michael claims Sophie was sexually abused by her mother’s fiancé Jacob Bellingham while living with them in Frisco, Texas.

He says his sons were allegedly given drugs by Bellingham and pointed to a hair test carried out last summer that showed the presence of cocaine in the older boy’s body.

Sophie, who was seen screaming and accusing Bellingham of assault in a video shared online, was also given medical tests and was found to have a vaginal infection.

Her mother Kelly has denied the allegations, telling DailyMail in a statement that the situation was ‘heartbreaking and terrifying’, while family sources claimed Michael was ‘coaching’ Sophie.

New court papers obtained by DailyMail show a judge found Michael ‘engaged in a knowing or intentional pattern of behavior that has interfered with the relationship’ between Sophie and her mom.

The papers add: ‘The court finds that based on the evidence presented, allowing the child S.L. to remain in the care of MICHAEL LONG would constitute an immediate and substantial danger to the child’s physical health and/or emotional and psychological wellbeing.’

As a result, Michael was banned from contacting any of his children for three months on July 7 and ordered to pay a total of $20,000 to fund therapy for all three.

Judge Michael Snipes also ruled that the no-contact order will be extended beyond three months if Michael fails to pay up and ordered him to attend 10 therapy sessions.

In addition, Michael was barred from contacting his former wife and her family in any way; and is specifically prohibited from making threats to them.

He was also banned from ‘hiding or secreting the children in any way’ and ‘placing a telephone call, anonymously, at any unreasonable hour, in an offensive and repetitious manner, or without any legitimate purpose of communication with the intent to annoy or alarm the other party.’

Sophie, meanwhile, has been ordered to take part in family reunification therapy with her mother while living with her aunt Danielle Hamlin.

Hamlin has been handed complete control over every aspect of Sophie’s life, including decisions on schooling and medical care.

Michael has now filed a mandamus petition to try to overturn the no-contact order and custody award, which was presented with a notarized cover sheet marked Richmond, Virginia.
