A Florida woman just learned the hard way that charging at police with a weapon doesn’t end well—especially in the Sunshine State.
Newly released bodycam footage from the Port Saint Joe Police Department shows 41-year-old Tikila Walker lunging at an officer with a massive 16-inch fillet knife after being pulled over.
According to authorities, Walker had already been involved in multiple hit-and-run incidents before the confrontation. Officers attempted to use a taser to disarm her, but the weapon had no effect. That’s when Walker charged forward, knife in hand.
The officer fired twice—striking her once in the right arm and once in the pelvis. Miraculously, Walker survived the ordeal and was quickly taken into custody.

Police Chief Jake Richards confirmed that Walker is now facing serious charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
The bodycam video makes it clear: the officer had no choice but to protect himself. In Florida, where law enforcement is strongly supported, violent stunts like this aren’t going to fly.
Thankfully, no officers were injured in the incident. As for Walker, she’ll have plenty of time to think about her actions while facing down the consequences in court.
