California Democrats have truly outdone themselves this week in their mishandling of the devastating L.A. County fires. The chaos, incompetence, and sheer disregard for the people they claim to serve have reached new lows, leaving residents furious and demanding accountability.
From Governor Gavin Newsom avoiding desperate citizens by pretending to take a phone call, to Mayor Karen Bass slashing the fire department’s budget by tens of millions of dollars, it’s clear that progressive policies have failed the state’s 10 million residents. And let’s not forget Bass’s ill-timed trip to Ghana while flames engulfed parts of the city—talk about priorities!
But it gets worse. In an astonishing blunder, L.A. County accidentally sent out an emergency evacuation order for the entire county. That’s right, nearly 10 million people were told to leave simultaneously, creating panic and the potential for catastrophic gridlock.

This is the Democratic Party at work. Mismanagement, misplaced priorities, and total incompetence. Instead of ensuring firefighters have the resources they need, the leadership prioritizes “equity” over safety. Instead of taking responsibility, they dodge questions and shift blame.
The result? A state in chaos, residents who feel abandoned, and an ever-growing list of failures from officials who’ve had every chance to do better.
It’s time for Californians to wake up. Newsom and Bass must resign immediately. Their leadership—or lack thereof—has turned one of America’s most beautiful states into a cautionary tale. Enough is enough.
