In a stunning display of self-sabotage, Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) may have unintentionally given Kash Patel the ultimate endorsement during an appearance on ABC’s This Week. Schiff, who has made a career of championing the Deep State, blasted Patel’s qualifications for FBI Director—a role for which former President Trump has officially nominated him.
Schiff labeled Patel as a “conspiracy theorist” for advocating the shutdown of the FBI’s Hoover Building and transforming it into a “museum of the Deep State.” What Schiff intended as criticism actually bolsters Patel’s case as the perfect antidote to a bloated and compromised agency.
Here’s what Schiff said:
“Let me say with respect to some of the nominees like Kash Patel, uh, this is someone in view who is not qualified to be FBI Director. Someone who claimed, for example, that he wanted to shut down FBI headquarters early in his tenure and, uh, open a museum to the Deep State. So this is a conspiracy theorist.”
WATCH:
Schiff’s remarks inadvertently highlight Patel’s vision to reform the FBI—a vision that many Americans believe is long overdue.
The FBI’s record under Democratic leadership has been tarnished by corruption and partisanship:
Amplifying the false narrative that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.
Targeting Tara Reade after her allegations against Joe Biden.
Spying on conservatives, including Patel himself, and embedding agents during the January 6th protests.
Patel, known for his no-nonsense approach and impressive tenure in counter-terrorism under Trump, is the exact leader needed to restore integrity to the FBI. Schiff’s rant inadvertently underscores this fact.
Here’s hoping the Senate doesn’t back down and gives America the chance to see what Kash Patel can achieve.
