The media establishment just stepped on a rake — again.
In a hilariously timed move, The Washington Post rushed out a full-blown “fact check” to shut down rumors of any Trump connection to Jeffrey Epstein… literally moments before The Wall Street Journal dropped its own hit piece.
WaPo confidently declared:
“No credible allegation has emerged to connect Trump to any of Epstein’s crimes. If the full file is ever released, we are confident that no connection would be found. Rest assured — if Trump were prominently mentioned, it would have been leaked by now.”
Oops.
That “fact check” aged like milk. Not only did it look like they were preemptively running cover for what the WSJ was about to attempt, but it also confirmed what many of us already knew: if WaPo can’t link Trump to Epstein, nobody can.
For years, the media has thrown everything they could at Trump — Russian collusion, Ukraine calls, tax returns, impeachments — and yet Epstein remains the one smear they wish they could make stick. They’ve tried before. It never goes anywhere. Because there’s nothing there.
But this time, the coordination is almost too obvious. One outlet works to shut down the conspiracy. The other tries to spark one. And they both end up exposed for what they are — partisan propaganda machines clumsily trying to rewrite history in real time.
The truth? Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago over inappropriate behavior. Meanwhile, the Clinton connection runs deep, and the Democrats have a lot more to lose if that flight log is ever made fully public.
So let the media twist themselves into knots.
Because if WaPo can’t cook up a connection… then it’s game over for the smear campaign.
Womp womp.
