Before the anchor could even finish, Pelosi snapped.
“Why do you have to read that? Let’s not give him any more time on that, please…”
But it was too late. Trump’s words had already hit the airwaves.
The moment came shortly after Trump sarcastically referred to Pelosi as “the most successful person on Wall Street,” pointing to her and her husband Paul Pelosi’s uncanny record of lucrative stock trades—many of which coincided suspiciously with major congressional actions.
It’s a pattern Americans have noticed for years, and Trump was simply saying what millions were thinking. His jab landed, and CNN decided to throw it straight in Pelosi’s face.

Pelosi’s defensive reaction only adds fuel to the fire, especially as bipartisan efforts to ban insider trading in Congress continue to stall—ironically because of opposition from powerful lawmakers like Pelosi herself.
