On Wednesday night, Antifa agitators stormed into Crown Heights, Brooklyn, attempting to stir up racial violence between Black and Jewish residents. The timing wasn’t accidental. The stunt took place just after a tragic mass shooting that killed three people and coincided with the annual vigil marking the death of seven-year-old Gavin Cato in 1991 — the incident that sparked the infamous Crown Heights riots.
Antifa clearly thought they could exploit that history to reignite ethnic tensions. They showed up shouting anti-Jewish rhetoric, trying to convince Black residents to turn on their Hasidic Jewish neighbors. Their goal was simple: chaos, destruction, and another round of leftist-approved race riots.
But it didn’t work.
Video footage from the scene shows Black residents standing up to the Antifa thugs, literally positioning themselves between the agitators and their Jewish neighbors. The locals can be heard shouting: “Scram!”, “Skedaddle!”, and even “F* Antifa!”** as they chased the radicals out of the neighborhood.

It was a moment that revealed just how out of touch Antifa really is. They tried to play on old wounds from the early 1990s, when a tragic accident involving a Hasidic driver and two Black children spiraled into days of rioting. Back then, race-baiters like Al Sharpton fanned the flames, leading marches and pouring gasoline on the fire until one Jewish man was murdered and more than 150 people were injured.
But this time, Antifa miscalculated. Brooklyn residents didn’t take the bait. Instead, they sent a loud message that they weren’t going to be used as pawns in a leftist social experiment.
This isn’t the first time Antifa has been caught trying to exploit minority communities. During the George Floyd riots, videos went viral of Black Americans telling mostly white Antifa activists to stop looting, stop burning, and get out of their neighborhoods.
The truth is, the radical left doesn’t see minorities as people — they see us as tools for their agenda. But in Crown Heights this week, those plans collapsed in humiliating fashion. And it was glorious to watch.
