Katie “Potato” Porter Lets the Mask Slip and Says the Quiet Part Out Loud — Her Craziest Moments from the California Debate Exposed

California Democrats put on quite the show last night in the CNN gubernatorial debate — and by “show” I mean a masterclass in how completely detached from reality their party has become.

The star of the clown car? Former Congresswoman Katie “Potato” Porter, who once again proved why she’s earned that nickname. Between her Ozempic-fueled rants and her inability to hide the radical agenda, Porter spent the night saying the quiet part out loud in ways that should terrify every California voter still left in the state.

First, she openly admitted that illegal aliens already get free healthcare in California — and proudly declared she would keep that policy going full steam ahead.

Yes, really. While Californians struggle with sky-high taxes, crumbling roads, and businesses fleeing the state, Porter wants to keep handing out free medical care to people who aren’t even supposed to be here. She said it with a straight face, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Then she really went there on California’s so-called “growth.” With Newsom having sold so many one-way U-Haul trucks out of the state that it’s basically a statewide moving company, Porter explained exactly how they plan to keep the population numbers up: flood the state with illegal immigrants.

She didn’t say “replacement theory,” but she might as well have. Import enough illegals, make it impossible for actual citizens to afford living there, and suddenly you’ve got a permanent Democrat voting bloc. Marx would be proud.

And of course, she couldn’t resist a bizarre rant defending her infamous temper — the same one that went viral when she screamed “Get out of my fucking shot!” at her own staffer. She teared up, tried to play the victim, and then got absolutely torched by Republican candidate Chad Bianco with a perfect punchline. Porter’s comeback? Still doesn’t make any sense.

The rest of the Democrat lineup was just as unhinged. Billionaire Tom Steyer said he wants to tax other billionaires so heavily that they all leave California — because apparently the best way to fix the state is to make sure the remaining taxpayers foot the entire bill. He also called for criminalizing ICE agents and throwing federal immigration officers in prison. Let that sink in.

Even worse, Joe Biden’s former HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra stood there and claimed Trump is “lying” about the hundreds of thousands of lost children from Biden’s open borders — even though Biden’s own DHS Inspector General put the number around 300,000.

They really do live in an alternate universe.

The one voice of sanity on stage came from Republican Steve Hilton, who actually talked like someone who wants to fix California instead of burning it down for votes. But in a Democrat-dominated debate, he was basically shouting into the wind.

This is what California Democrats are offering voters: more taxes, more crime, more open borders, more free stuff for illegals, and more temper tantrums from leaders like Katie Porter. They’ve already turned the once-Golden State into a cautionary tale — and they want four more years of the same disaster.

Meanwhile, President Trump is delivering the exact opposite in Washington: securing the border, cutting regulations, protecting American workers, and putting citizens first. That’s why Californians are fleeing to red states in record numbers. They see the contrast every single day.

Porter and her fellow radicals can cry, scream, and deflect all they want. The American people — and the few sane Californians left — are watching. They know exactly what four more years of this insanity would look like.

And they’re not buying it anymore.
