Micheal Moore isn’t known for being logical and reasonable. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. He has written that a “death wish” from some voters put President Donald Trump in the White House. He also once said that Charlton Heston was responsible for the Columbine Massacre.
Makes you wonder if he just sits in bed all day, eating Doritos and ice cream, trying to come up with the latest insane statement to top his last. If anything, it goes without saying that Moore obviously loves the spotlight.
Well, yesterday, Leftist filmmaker Michael Moore said President Donald Trump’s going to “get us all killed” and hopes that someone in the Pentagon is looking out for “us.”
“This guy’s [Trump’s] going to get us all killed. There’s nobody in charge,” the 63-year-old filmmaker stated in a Thursday interview with Reuters, according to The Daily Caller.
The interview was supposed to be discussing Moore’s Broadway show “The Terms Of My Surrender,” which takes aim at the president, and has been panned by The New York Times as a disaster.
“This man (Trump) has the nuclear codes,” he added. “I’m hoping somebody in the Pentagon is protecting us. Like, whatever’s in that nuclear briefcase it’s just some girlfriend’s phone number or something. I’m just hoping that it’s not the real numbers because we’re in desperate shape here.”
Earlier this week, Moore called the president “absolutely a racist” and said his supporters, in turn, were too if they still supported the president after his remarks about Charlottesville, VA where he put the blame for the violence on both sides.
“He’s absolutely a racist,” Moore responded. “He’s not as stupid as people want to believe he is. He knows exactly what he’s doing, he knows the words to use and I’m certain that the 63 million people who voted for him actually–vast, vast majority–love that press conference.”
“If you helped to put Donald Trump in office, you need to think about this before you kneel down and say your prayers tonight,” he added. “Think about…this person that you now have leading this country. And anybody who supports that–if you still support the racist, you are the racist.”
Since Trump won the 2016 presidential election, Moore has participated in protests and called for his impeachment. Not to mention, Moore even set up a website with the objective of removing Trump from office. All that ice cream is getting to Moore’s head.
