I challenge anyone to name one thing that Obama did, that does not need to be undone! Obama did nothing but evil to the American people. Secretary of Defense, James Mattis knows this so they took things in their hands!
Under Obama, the US military has been held back and not allowed to do what they were trained to do. When the military had the conflict to the point of beating the enemy they were called off. It’s time, actually, past time to stop sacrificing American soldiers in life and death struggles they are not allowed to win.
But now we are fortunate to be in a much better position to fight with ISIS, because we are now having a POTUS who is on the right side, unlike Obama was.
Defense Secretary Jim Mattis confirmed that a decision has been made on a military strategy in Afghanistan, where more than 8,000 troops already are based.
Today Presiden Trump bowed to arguments from his top generals to raise the US stakes once more in the 16-year war.
In a televised address to troops at Fort Myer in Virginia on Monday night, Trump outlined what he claimed was a new strategy for Afghanistan and south Asia. But he did not say how many more troops he would send, how long they would stay, or what their ultimate objective was.
Before standing for the presidency and privately since entering the Oval Office, Trump had argued for a military withdrawal, but in his speech he made a rare admission that he had changed his mind. He avoided saying directly that his about-turn would lead to more soldiers being sent to Afghanistan, but his speech made clear that would be the outcome.
“The men and women who serve our nation in combat deserve a plan for victory,” Trump said. “They deserve the tools they need, and the trust they have earned, to fight and to win.”
Our President said beautiful, unifying words to our torn country including:
“When we open our hearts to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice, no place for bigotry and no tolerance for hate.”
“Loyalty to our nation demands loyalty to one another. Love for America requires love for all of its people.”
And yet, for some reason, there were those on the left who criticized the President’s words to the nation!
We are fortunate to be in much better position because we are now having a POTUS who is on the right side, unlike Obama was. Trump is an over-achieving executive and workaholic and intends to keep his campaign promise and destroy ISIS to once and for all end their reign of terror.
